About this day nursery

N Family Club Leytonstone is a nursery at The Bell Centre in Leyton, offering early years education in a newly renovated space. The nursery boasts spacious, naturally lit family rooms with fresh filtered air, all providing direct access to a courtyard garden.

This garden features a natural forest area, integral to their 'N curriculum' and used for stimulating forest school sessions. Inside, children benefit from an atelier for creative pursuits and an N Café which also serves as a welcoming spot for parents during drop-off.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and provides balanced, freshly prepared meals cooked on-site. They also foster a sense of community through their Family Club, offering online expert talks to families.

With standard hours of 8 am to 6 pm and extended options until 7 pm, the nursery aims to provide flexibility for working parents.

Our ethos

To ensure that all children develop a love of learning in the great outdoors, the garden also contains a natural forest area – perfect for lively forest school sessions, which are a core part of our N curriculum. We also welcome all of our families to join us online for our monthly expert talks via our Family Club.

What it's like

Staff welcome children into a bright and stimulating environment. The nursery's curriculum is ambitious, but the quality of education is variable due to ineffective staff deployment and inconsistent organisation of routine activities. Children disengage from learning or lack focus as a result.

Cannot fault them - a really wonderful team across the board with a lovely atmosphere to the whole place, feels friendly and informal whilst also being highly professional. The team in the room are very attentive to the individual child's needs but do this in a way that supports the child to be part of the group, the team also deliver a varied and high level of learning experiences without the pedagogical aspect feeling forced or pressurising for the child. Excellent communication via the App from all staff - the daily updates when child is there but also wider messaging with support and events for families, always clear and helpful. They are superb on any health issues child might have. Last but not least great food (well done chefs!) with free coffee in mornings for parents. Loses one point only as would love it to have more outside space but this is London.

Nursery has been absolutely amazing to the children and my daughter has definitely developed a lot in the last 5 months and lots of new milestones were achieved at this nursery. We are truly grateful with the effort each staff has put in to ensure every children is learning and on track for their development. Many thank you once again and would recommend others to this nursery for sure.

The search for a good nursery was a very long process for us but once we found N. We knew it was the right choice. My son’s development has been impressive with a very good vocabulary and he’s also able to count. The staff are fantastic and the nursery itself is clean, well kept and well equipped. My son loves the staff and his friends. Overall great 🙏🏽

Such a great experience so far. We had to move our son from another nursery. After only a month with N family, he’s so happy! Loves going to school, has learned and improved so many different skills, always mentions friends and staff. As a parent you’re always worried how others will take care of your kid and how he will respond to the care given but we couldn’t have made a better choice. I’m really glad I found this nursery - definitely recommend!

Lovely friendly nursery. Staff are all excellent. Our son has settled in really well. Their communication is great. They were very accommodating with our son’s multiple food allergies. Lovely indoor and outdoor space. On the more expensive side than other local nurseries but only by a little and the offset in care and communication and being relaxed knowing one’s child is being very well looked after is definitely worth it. Clearly still a popular place at this price point.
