Parents speak very highly about staff and the setting.
Inclusion & environment
Staff focus on having time outside in the fresh air. For example, children enjoy going on nature walks, feeding the ducks and completing obstacle courses in the garden. In addition, there are regular opportunities for children to listen to stories, both indoors and outdoors.
Such a great nursery. Lots of creativity, practical skills, and nature-based learning. The staff are caring and dedicated, the curriculum and activities are well thought out, and the facilities are excellent. My child has flourished in an environment that promotes independence, with routines that empower children to take care of themselves and others. My child takes his shoes off, helps around the house and is very caring of his things and those around him...clearly learnt from his time at the Arches. The food is also great...it's vegetarian and they don't have sugary puddings ...which unbelievably is normal in other nurseries. An outstanding nursery...highly recommend.
Read on GoogleThe Arches is an absolute gem of a nursery - with a beautiful setting, a gentle approach, proactive communication with parents, and, most importantly, the most loving and caring staff, both in the baby and toddler rooms. Rosey and her team have truly set the bar so high for what early years childcare should be that we’re struggling to find anything remotely comparable in our new home outside of London. Thanks for everything and wishing you every success in the future!
Read on GoogleOur son has just ‘graduated’ from the Arches aged three - he started attending when he was one. I cannot recommend the Arches enough. The staff are so caring; the curriculum and activities are so well thought out; the facilities are spotless; he has learned so much, and they implement brilliant routines that have helped him so much. The children learn to do things for themselves, and parents are given lots of information about their progress. The food is amazing too (they often make their own bread or muffins and then eat them at snack time). Rosey’s standards are so high (in the best possible way) and this is evident absolutely everywhere. We miss the Arches and everyone who works there so much, but the impact they made will last a lifetime!
Read on GoogleThe most amazing nursery you will find. Truly feels like home away from home. Well qualified and caring staff to take the time to get to know parents and children, building solid rapports with the whole family. Endless activities in and outside the nursery to build upon practical skills, encourage creativity and to nurture socialisation. This includes a lot of mixing with nature, baking and cooking, science excitements and events that allow parents to join kids for activities. The space is incredibly beautiful with the best equipment and facilities. Children are empowered to be their own person and entrusted with routines that help them feel independent. Our 2 children couldn’t be happier. We have noticed that they’re thriving under the kind and thoughtful care of Rosey and her team. I wish they had a primary school!
Read on GoogleThis nursery is out there on its own in terms of love, care, commitment and curriculum. We couldn’t have given our daughter a better start in life. Rosey and her team are deeply devoted to each child and they all work so hard to make every family feel supported. Couldn't recommend more.
