The outdoor area is extensive, offering climbing equipment, a water play zone, a gardening patch, and a race-track for active play. The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, with standard hours from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and extended hours from 7 am to 7 pm available subject to availability.

They offer multi-day and sibling discounts, and also accommodate emergency day swaps and ad-hoc days. The fees are calculated across the 51 open weeks and averaged into 12 monthly payments, which include bank holidays and inset days.

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, develop and learn in an age- appropriate way that suits their interests and stage of development. They are guided by staff who are tuned in to their individual needs and who expertly make learning enticing and fun.

Outdoor space

Children develop their communication and writing skills when they join the 'safety squad' to assess the risk of the outdoor area. Children develop excellent physical skills, benefiting from activities that improve their balance, strength, spatial awareness and coordination. Babies have ample space to crawl and explore and young children play with dough and build with bricks.

EAL / language support

All children, including those who speak English as an additional language, develop and learn in an age- appropriate way that suits their interests and stage of development. They are guided by staff who are tuned in to their individual needs and who expertly make learning enticing and fun.

My daughter Aurelia has been at N Family ever since moving down in October 2024- she has loved her time here! The reception team are friendly, and they are always available to help with any queries- nothing is too much bother. The toddler and pre school staff have been amazing with her- she gets taught phonics and they do loads of sensory and outdoor play, and go on excursions. There is nothing to fault here :) Also special mention to the exceptional menu! I am jealous when I read it every week and Aurelia always eats every meal and more! I would recommend to everyone who needs a nursery to care for their children!

My son has been at N family Tunbridge Wells for almost 2 years and he loves it! It is a very well run nursery, the staff is exceptional and I never feel like I need to worry about anything. I always feel like my son has a good experience there and I like how varied and well thought out the food is.

Both my eldest and my youngest have attended this nursery and we have had the most lovely, positive experience with them both. My daughter who is 3 is so happy to go in every day, she is learning and developing well whilst clearly feeling nurtured and loved. The staff are amazing, they really care about the kids and what they do, the facilities are the best I have seen in a nursery setting with a huge outdoor space. We couldn’t be more happy with N Family Tunbridge Wells and will be sad to say goodbye when our daughter goes to school.

My daughter has been at N Family for just over a year and she loves it. She talks about her key workers and friends at nursery often. She settled in really quickly and loves all the different activities they get up to. All the staff are really welcoming and they all clearly take the time to get to know all the children within the setting. I get daily photos & updates via the app (which is incredibly easy to use). I’ve been really pleased with N Family; their support and care in helping my daughter’s development has been brilliant.
