Inclusion & environment
All children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are making good levels of progress from their starting points. Children with SEND are well supported by the knowledgeable special educational needs coordinator. She is passionate about her role and committed to making a positive difference to children's lives. She works effectively with parents, staff and professionals to support the best outcomes for children.
Babies delight in discovering the garden. They take safe risks as they navigate the environment and explore various ways their bodies can move. Outdoor opportunities promote exploration and the development of children's gross motor skills. For instance, toddlers scoot themselves along on tricycles and explore miniature climbing structures. They take suitable risks under the supervision and encouragement of staff.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Banana Moon. From the very first day, the teachers made our daughter feel loved, supported, and cherished. It’s clear that every staff member genuinely cares for the children, creating a warm and nurturing environment. Our daughters have thrived here, and it’s been heartwarming to see them so happy and excited to go to nursery every day. The love and attention they have received from their teachers have made a lasting impact, and we feel so grateful they had the opportunity to be part of such an amazing place. Thank you, Banana Moon for all that you do!
Read on GoogleGetting sick of this place my daughter has been there for over a year every chance they get they close. Today closed because no water maybe with the extreme rates you charge parents you could buy water and you know stay open. Like last week or two weeks ago not even 24 hours before before they told they wouldn't be open because staff training. The place is a clown show avoid at all costs.
Read on GoogleI looked at 4 nurseries within Tunbridge wells for my little girl. Banana moon was my last look around before I gave up. I was sold right away. Nursery manager is wonderful, she is professional, down to earth and fun. It’s clear the children all love her. My 1 year old settled immediately as the staff were all so attentive. The introduce her to great activities and have her enjoying every meal. She is handed back to me clean, happy, chatty and excited to show me new things she has learnt. I honestly couldn’t be happier!
