How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff possess excellent knowledge of how to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff benefit from receiving extensive support from a fully trained 'SEND champion' staff member. They also benefit from working with the special educational needs coordinator lead from the organisation to develop their skills and knowledge. This facilitates staff to support children with SEND effectively to make good progress.

Outdoor space

Outside, children are working hard to fix bicycles at the 'bike repair shop'. They wear high-visibility jackets and helmets, exercising caution using the different tools. Staff encourage children to take risks and motivate them to use the balance beam. This develops children's ability to balance and travel in different ways.

Really great nursery. Staff are kind and dedicated. Morale seems high, which is important. Management are excellent. Think they go above and beyond in terms of the activities for kids. It’s not just box ticking on the curriculum - several different kinds of messy play a week for example. Good feedback on your child. Mine is extremely happy here. They have a great outdoor space and they make great use of it. Kids get to go outside in all weather. Food is excellent too. Couldn’t be happier with nursery. Has a very good reputation locally, known to be a great nursery.

My son attended this nursery two years ago, and our experience was disappointing. He consistently came home with wet pants despite being toilet trained, which stopped immediately after moving to a new nursery with a structured toilet routine. I also witnessed an 8-month-old baby crying on the floor while staff ignored him. Staff engagement with children seemed minimal, and some branded clothing items, went missing and were never recovered. While some staff were nice, the overall care and organisation at that time were concerning. I hope things have improved, but prospective parents should be aware of these past issues.

Wonderful wonderful Nursery. I've been bringing my children here over the best part of six years after moving from another nursery that wasn't nearly as impressive. All of the staff are really attentive, caring and communicate well. The facilities are great, with a lot of space for play and learning.

I just love this nursery.. we moved house... but i just still think of this one and how my child would be having fun whenever i would pick him up. Nice big sunny garden, bikes, good food, good programme, genuine caring staff and genuine smiling staff. Great managers too! Always helping or being proactive. Good philosophy/values that reflects on the nursery floor as well. My child actually imagine played 'nursery' for a while after we moved.. i know he loved it too!

Fantastic nursery, thanks to the amazing staff! They clearly have a real interest in the children. I couldn't recommend this branch enough. My children were made to feel welcome from day 1 and have developed from strength to strength since joining. The weekly newsletter provides information on the activities the children got up too that week, pictures included. Most importantly when I collect the children, they are overjoyed and at times want to stay and play. I couldn't ask for anything more.
