Inclusion & environment
The report does not contain specific information about SEND provision, but indicates that the curriculum is designed to follow children's individual interests and focus on what they need to learn next. However, occasionally, in group situations, the different learning needs of some younger children are not always addressed.
The nursery carries out continual risk assessments of the indoor and outdoor environments and ensures that all resources are safe and fit for children to play with. Children improve their physical development skills by riding tricycles and balancing on scooters, and plans are in place for developments in the outdoors to improve outcomes for all children.
Home from home, We had our son in a large chain nursery and experienced a lot of issues. Since moving our son to New Ferry Day Nursery we have not had a single issue with his dietary/allergy requirements and have seen him make leaps in his progress in hitting his milestones! We can’t thank Alex enough for how understanding they have been, along with the nursery staff and kitchen staff who’ve made it as simple as dropping him off in the morning with no need to worry, Thank you!
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending the nursery for nearly 4 years now (she starts primary school September) and she absolutely loves park lodge day nursery. She likes it that much she wants to go of a weekend to but much to her annoyance it's closed. All the staff are very friendly and great with the kids, she always has a great time there and I could not rate or recommend it highly enough. I'd like to thank all the staff for looking after her over the years and she is very upset to be leaving. I wish you all the best for the future. Thank you for all your hard work.
