The enthusiastic staff, who know children exceedingly well, greet them in their home language, fostering a welcoming and safe atmosphere where children form positive and secure relationships.
The nursery excels in providing ample learning opportunities that are specifically tailored to individual needs, ensuring all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language, make outstanding progress. The curriculum is ambitious and broad, based on children's interests, with staff skilfully sequencing learning and allowing children to take control of their educational journey.
Outdoor learning is a significant strength, with staff using the outdoor area exceedingly well to enhance development. Younger children explore natural elements and use equipment like tricycles, while older children engage in vigorous physical activities such as rugby and fencing, promoting physical development and a love for trying new things.
The Montessori method guides the educational ethos, with leaders and staff demonstrating an excellent understanding of what children need to learn.
