• Leaders have a clear vision for the delivery of their curriculum and a strong ethos for encouraging children to play, explore and make new discoveries.
• Leaders place a strong emphasis on using nature to spark children's interest, with staff setting out pots in the mud kitchen and incorporating children's interest in mini beasts into teaching.
• Leaders design the learning environment to motivate children and support their emotional security, offering quiet spaces for pre-school children and mixing younger babies to learn from each other.
• Staff are nurturing towards children, who feel safe and secure, and know how to comfort babies and manage their care routines.
• Parents speak very highly about the service provided and value the communication with staff to support children's learning and development.
• Staff have a deep understanding of child development and use this knowledge to analyse observations, plan for each child, and ensure teaching matches individual needs for good progress.
• Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported by staff and the SENCo, with targeted support plans in place.
