Newquay Pre-school and Nursery is a long-standing, non-profit charity that has been providing affordable and high-quality childcare to families in Newquay and the surrounding area for 50 years. Located near Newquay Football club, it is conveniently close to the town centre and main bus stops.
The nursery caters to children aged 6 months to 5 years across four distinct rooms, each thoughtfully designed to offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for discovery and learning. The outdoor spaces are a highlight, featuring a large sandpit, a mud kitchen, water play, undercover areas with construction blocks, a woodwork area, a stage for imaginative play, a pirate ship, climbing structures, and a secret garden.
Children also benefit from outings into the local community. The nursery employs an on-site chef who prepares healthy meals and conducts workshops to educate children on nutrition.

Inclusion & environment
Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) effectively. They ensure that children are fully included and access all learning experiences, using visual cards and showing objects to help children communicate and understand upcoming activities. Staff work in partnership with external professionals and parents to ensure that children with SEND make progress.
Toddlers love to play in the sandpit together and watch ladybirds crawl away. Toddlers like to listen to the wind blowing in the garden. Pre-school children risk assess their play environment alongside staff when making a den.
Couldn't recommend this setting enough! The staff are INCREDIBLE. Many of them have been there for 10 to 20 years. They are SO passionate about the children and so creative with their learning. My daughter has been going there for 2 years and she absolutely loves it. I feel very confident about the care my child is getting at this fantastic setting. The setting is a charity and thus it isn't the shiniest nursery building around but the staff ARE the shiniest you'll ever find! I've put my baby on the waiting list as I want him to benefit from the incredible room staff too.
Read on GoogleThis is such a wonderful place - my youngest absolutely loves it and I can see how much he’s developing by being there. For a relatively small setting they have created a kids wonderland with plenty of creative activities and a surprising amount of outdoor space. It also feels tucked away from the noise of Newquay! It will be a very sad day when we leave Newquay Pre School.
Read on GoogleThis is a lovely school and I find all the teachers are kind and caring. My niece is vegan and her dietary needs are always catered for. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone thinking of sending their child here.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely the best pre school in Newquay, wonderful dedicated staff, the children enjoy their days and are thriving with their education. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleMy son went here and grew so well. The staff were all wonderful and work so hard to give the children the best experiences and care possible.
