What it's like to attend

Staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and children are happy to leave their parents and carers. Staff value the diverse families and children, and newly appointed staff recognise the importance of getting to know individual learning styles, personalities, cultures, and family backgrounds. Children develop a strong bond with their key person, which helps them feel safe and secure.

  • Staff use information from parents and their own observations to support all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), who make good progress.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff encourage parents to provide information about what their children already know and can do when they first attend. They use this information, and their own observations, to decide how to help all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff work collaboratively with families and professionals to implement detailed plans and interventions. All children, including those with SEND, make good progress from their starting points in development.

Outdoor space

Staff ensure that all children benefit from daily activities outdoors to exercise their large muscles. This includes rolling tyres and learning to pedal bicycles. Children take part in daily dance and yoga sessions, where they practise different yoga poses and dance styles from different cultures.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language develop their understanding of the English language quickly. With the attentive support of bilingual staff, children begin to extend their interactions with others using spoken English.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Nishkam nursery. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured, taking the time to get to know our child and their needs. The environment is bright, safe, and full of engaging activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Our little one has grown confidence, made lovely friends, and is always excited to going the morning. The team communicates brilliantly with parents, sharing updates and photos that make us feel involved in their day. It's clear they genuinely care about each child's wellbeing and development. As a parent i am absolutely delighted with Nishkam nursery and couldn’t have chosen a better place for my child. The environment is warm, welcoming and safe. Every morning my child is excited to go in. The staff are incredibly caring, patient and professional. They genuinely take the time to understand each child’s individual needs and support their development in a nurturing way. Communication with parents is excellent, with regular updates about daily activities, learning progress and wellbeing. The nursery is always clean, well organised and thoughtfully set up to encourage learning through play. Since joining, i have seen a noticeable improvement in my child’s confidence, social skills and language development. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive, stimulating and happy place for their child. It truly feels like a home away from home.

My son has been attending this nursery for about two years, and we’ve had a very good experience. The staff are kind, caring, and supportive, and my son feels happy and comfortable there. It’s a lovely environment, and I’m confident he’s learning and growing every day. I would happily recommend this nursery to other parents.

Nishkam nursery it's a nice place I will recommend all parents to register their kids for learning. The staff are so nice and welcoming, very attentive and give great care to the children and parents,the teachers really give their best teaching to the kids and it reflects. When I enrolled my child newly in the nursery he only says few words like bye , mama and thank u but in only few weeks of his start he's rapidly improve on his speech and learning skills, can count from 1-10, read some alphabets of A-bcs on in words, can make some few sentences and name some parts of our body parts etc... my child has really improved greatly since he started the nursery and I can confess the teachers and management are really doing great in impacting on the children positively.And I didn't regret registering my child in the nursery at first place. I recommend this nursery for all parents who really want the best foundation of education for their kids.

Such a fantastic nursery for little ones! So clean and fresh..very well organised too. The layout of the nursery is the best I’ve experienced, and would highly recommend. The manager and staff are very attentive and focus highly on every child’s needs. My child always has the best days there!! She loves her nursery family. Also fantastic that’s it’s fully vegetarian!
