Areas to develop

  • 1Leaders should ensure that all staff consistently use high-quality teaching and interactions to build on and extend children's learning.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders recognise the importance of creating an inclusive setting. Staff, including SEND coordinators, are knowledgeable and use targeted plans and an approach to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND make positive progress, particularly in communication and language development.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy outdoor play where they build their physical skills through balancing, climbing, and riding wheeled toys. Older children enjoy practising climbing skills on suitable outdoor climbing equipment and use the outdoor role-play area to pretend to make "lemonade".

EAL / language support

There are some inconsistencies in the procedures to support children who speak English as an additional language. Leaders recognise the need to strengthen procedures to ensure more consistent baseline information and targeted support from the start.

Simply Magical! The thought of leaving our daughter was hard, the girls not only in the baby room but through out the nursery have been the best. Charlotte reassures you from the offset, Millie, Stacey and Sarah and all the other girls have worked wonders for our girl. She has come on lots in a short space of time using lots of words, has more confidence and just a happier baby in general. Honestly from the walk around when we was looking we knew it was right for her. Even behind the scenes Sam in the office is so helpful I can praise the staff enough. Feel so lucky 💓
