Our ethos

Oak Tree Kindergarten Ltd follows the EYFS framework, with a play-based and exploration-driven approach. They prioritise learning through positive relationships and are committed to supporting each child's individual development.

What it's like

Children are secure and happy and enjoy their time at the nursery. Older children remember staff names and state they would go to staff if they felt sad. Children are becoming independent, for example, they wipe their noses, throw away the tissue and clean their hands.

What it's like to attend

  • Thorough monitoring assists the manager in understanding children's development and identifying possible gaps.
  • Staff observe children and plan the next steps in their learning, offering opportunities for experiences they may have missed due to COVID-19 lockdowns.
  • The promotion of communication skills is given a high priority, with staff using various methods to support children.
