Putteridge Community Nursery, located in Luton, provides an outstanding early years experience for children aged 2 to 4. 45 am to 5 pm, during term time only.

The dedicated team of 11 childcare staff, including a manager with a Level 6 qualification and eight other Level 3 qualified staff, ensures a nurturing and stimulating environment. Children are encouraged to be independent and enthusiastic learners, confidently choosing activities and showing high levels of curiosity.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, with staff regularly engaging in professional development and working in close partnership with local schools to ensure smooth transitions for children.

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children in the nursery, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make phenomenal progress. Staff are highly attuned to children's needs. Interventions are quickly put into place, including visual prompts to help individual learning needs. Support plans use children's interests to provide achievable goals, which are regularly reviewed. All staff understand them, maximising all children's potential. For those children with SEND, plans are put in place early to support transitions.

EAL / language support
