Our ethos

One Small Step was opened with an aim to create a nursery where parents feel completely relaxed and confident to leave their child in the knowledge that they will be cared for in a safe and secure environment. We provide exceptionally high standards of childcare and education for all children. Children are supported in various ways including: good role modelling, interaction, scaffolding, observation and assessments. We follow the Governments Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in order to offer a programme of activities that are interesting, educational, stimulating and fun. A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits your child.

Pre-school children work together with their friends during play. They stack tyres and planks to make a walkway in the garden.

Fantastic team of people who care for the children in a fun, safe environment. The staff are lovely and supportive and willing to help with any needs your child may have. My son spent a very happy 4 years with them. I have no hesitation on recommending One Small Step Nursery.
