About this day nursery

Our Monkey Club CIC is dedicated to nurturing children's development and fostering a love for learning through a child-centred, play-based educational philosophy. The club embraces a 'gardener' approach, providing a supportive environment where children can flourish at their own pace, rather than fitting them into a rigid mould.

This pedagogy prioritises exploration, creativity, and self-directed play, recognising it as the most effective method for developing cognitive, emotional, and social skills. Scientific research underpins this approach, highlighting how play enhances neurological development and strengthens crucial brain functions.

The curriculum is process-focused, valuing the learning journey over predetermined outcomes, which cultivates creativity, resilience, and a lasting enthusiasm for knowledge. Children at Our Monkey Club develop enhanced problem-solving abilities, improved emotional regulation, better coordination, and a joyful approach to discovery, preparing them for a lifetime of learning in an environment where they feel valued, supported, and encouraged.

He became social , interactive and his eating habits have improved alot. Since starting here my daughter has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are absolutely amazing and very approachable. My little girl started here when it first opened and is still as excited to go in a morning as what she was when she first started. Really couldn't praise them all enough.
