Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

Outdoor space

The nursery has a large outdoor area with climbing apparatus and swings to help children build and strengthen large muscles. Babies have the freedom to explore by crawling in and out of tunnels or taking their first steps with staff support. Pre-school children often eat lunch outdoors in a shaded seating area.

EAL / language support

Staff support children who may speak English as an additional language by repeating singular words and showing them the item. This consistent approach, along with flash cards, helps to build children's confidence, and they quickly start to speak new words.
