About this day nursery

Park Walk Seedlings Nursery offers high-quality childcare for children aged 6 months to 3 years. The day nursery is divided into two provisions: Acorns, for children aged 6 months to 2 years, and Sunflowers, for those aged 2 to 3 years.

The dedicated team of experienced Nursery Practitioners prioritises a calm, caring, and safe learning environment where each child can thrive and reach their full potential. They foster independence and confidence by encouraging children to engage in a diverse range of activities, promoting sharing and the discovery of new abilities and interests.

The weekly timetable is further enriched by specialist extracurricular teachers who extend learning both within and outside the classrooms, offering activities such as swimming, dance, music, and cookery. All meals, including breakfast, snacks, lunch, and tea, are provided according to children's attendance hours.

For children under two, families are asked to supply pureed food, milk, nappies, and wipes. Many Seedlings children transition to the Park Walk Nursery Class when they turn four, and subsequently, most continue into the Reception Class and beyond, subject to primary school admissions criteria.
