Parkside Day Nursery is a beautifully restored Victorian three-story building in Hull, offering 39 childcare places for children aged birth to five years old. The nursery focuses on providing a nurturing "home from home" environment where children can develop a lifelong love of learning.

The premises feature a dedicated floor for under 2s with a rustic woodland theme, and a preschool room across two linked spaces with direct access to a large, secure outdoor area. The outdoor space is being developed to support a Forest School approach, encouraging year-round outdoor learning.

Our ethos

Parkside Day Nursery aims to foster a lifelong love of learning by providing a nurturing "home from home" environment. What it's like

Children happily enter the setting and are eager to explore the well-resourced environment. Good key-worker systems are in place to ensure children feel secure and settled in the setting. Staffing arrangements in the rooms ensure children are cared for by core staff, who know and understand children's individual needs. This ensures care and education given to children is consistent, while the new staff team continues to form and develop.

Pricing & funding

Fees include snacks, meals, and play materials, but parents must provide nappies and wipes. A weekly consumable charge applies to cover items not covered by government funding. Additional charges are made for lunch and tea taken during funded sessions.
