Inclusion & environment
Staff observe and assess children's learning and development regularly. They use all of the information they have about children to successfully identify any emerging concerns about a child's development. They work very closely with parents and other professionals involved with the children to make sure that any specific activities or strategies needed are put in place.
Children learn and experience new things when outdoors, such as language around autumn leaves. However, this learning is incidental and happens if staff notice that a child is interested in something, such as using a tricycle that they need support with.
My son absolutely loves attending this nursery and there's no doubt why. The staff are welcoming, friendly, caring and clearly love spending time with each individual child. The activities are well-thought-out, meaningful and engaging. Even in those wobbly mornings, where tears are shed, the staff are so positive and calming and put us both at ease! They send incredible updates throughout the day: photos of meals; photos with friends; and videos to give us a real insight into his goings on. Nothing is too much for the staff; they go above and beyond to ensure each child is cared and catered for in their own individual way. He loves it and I love it. I'm so glad we made the choice to attend Little Stars!
Read on GoogleMy little boy started the nursery at 5 months old and has grown into such a cheeky little boy which wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the amazing staff at the setting. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds in the past 10 months. The environments are welcoming and the activities are always age appropriate and help with their development. The staff are always sending me pictures throughout the day giving me piece of mind if we have had a rough drop off. My little boy loves going to nursery and it all because of the love which he is shown by each and every member of staff. My little boy was born with club foot and the staff in the baby room especially have always met all of his needs and responded quickly when they noticed he was starting to have a relapse. I couldn’t be more grateful to have such an amazing team of girls caring for my little boy.
Read on GoogleMy little boy started This nursery when he was 3 months old due to my work commitments. The girls here have been absolutely fabulous with him since day one. He always has lots of fun and comes home smiling every time. The team have always been super helpful when it comes to anything and I feel they look after my little boy like he is part of their own family. I’m really pleased I chose here as I feel at ease everytime when my little one is there. The nursery environment is also lovely, professional and clean always. 5⭐️
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been going to Little Stars for 2 years, started age 10 months. She loves nursery, talks about all her experiences, activities, friends and the staff all the time. She asks to go on the weekend and tell me to hurry up she wants to go on nursery days. She is thriving, developing and growing in every way, becoming such a wonderful little human. The ladies who make up the Little Stars family of staff are just wonderful. Everyone fully invested in our daughter with her interests and future at the heart of what they do and how they do it, offering a full holistic approach including parents and grandparents too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Read on GoogleOur boy has attended this nursery since he was a young baby and we have nothing but great things to say about the care he has received in every stage of the nursery. ALL staff members have taken such time and care to get to know my child, and it really feels like he is paid attention to. He is excited to go to nursery, so they clearly nurture a positive environment where the children thrive. Any admin issues I have had have been corrected quickly and the office staff always have time for my silly questions. A fabulous nursery with such lovely staff, who work very hard 🙏
