Inspectors noted that children arrive happy and show a positive attitude towards their learning, making good progress in preparation for school. Young children are supported to settle well into routines that meet their individual needs, receiving comfort and reassurance from familiar adults.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, with all children enjoying time in the secure play area to develop their physical skills. Here, they can construct and engage in imaginative play, extending popular children's tales as they chase each other and carefully navigate the space.

Staff are experienced and adept at identifying any gaps in children's learning, planning activities to help close these. They also create a calm and relaxing space for babies to explore sensory resources.
