About this day nursery

Pebbles Pre-School, located in Luton, has been providing childcare on non-domestic premises since it registered in 2017. The setting caters to children aged 0-4 years and operates Monday to Friday for most of the year, from 7:30 am until 6:30 pm.

While the quality of the curriculum requires improvement, and inconsistencies in teaching and interactions have been noted, the staff at Pebbles Pre-School are commended for the strong relationships they build with children and the support they offer families. This attention helps children to feel happy and make good progress, particularly benefiting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Staff are skilled at understanding individual needs and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support. Children enjoy a well-resourced garden where activities are inspired by their suggestions, promoting physical development and early writing skills through play.

The setting also fosters literacy through a "book of the week" and frequent singing. Parents consistently praise the staff’s dedication.
