With a qualified Forest School leader, children are encouraged to take supported risks in a child-led outdoor setting, engaging in activities like growing vegetables, planting, digging, bug hunting, and den building.

The nursery also places a strong emphasis on continuous professional development for its dedicated team, with qualifications ranging from Level 3 apprentices to qualified teachers. They continually update their safeguarding training and policies.

Pinecones integrates an inclusive approach, supporting children with long and short-term needs through a dedicated SEND team. The curriculum is designed to combine pedagogy, child development, and local area relevance, with specific goals for both baby and main rooms to foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
