Parents particularly like the stimulating outdoor learning area and the daily updates and photos that they receive.
Inclusion & environment
The recent introduction of forest school in the ample outdoor area allows children to explore, investigate and develop their natural curiosity. Children benefit from being physically active, developing confidence as they ride on wheeled toys and expertly balance on crates.
Staff do not consistently promote the use of the home languages of children who speak English as an additional language during their play and learning, to help them develop further.
Our daughter has been attending Piplings Nursery since April 2025, and we couldn’t be happier. She has milk and egg allergies, which we only discovered after enrolling, but the nursery has been absolutely amazing in managing them. It’s an egg- and nut-free environment, and the staff take allergies very seriously, something that gives us great peace of mind. The team are friendly, caring, and clearly love what they do. Our daughter comes home happy (and often with messy clothes — proof of all the fun she’s had!). The activities are varied and engaging, from painting to playing with sand and dough, even for the younger children. The garden is huge and well used, and we love the Famly app that keeps us updated throughout the day. I’ve seen some older reviews about management, but the current manager on site is excellent and is making improvements all the time. Highly recommend Piplings!
Read on GoogleThis is a really wonderful nursery. Huge garden, really kind and caring staff. Our kiddos (eldest has now been there for more than two years) have the best time there and have progressed in leaps and bounds. It’s brilliant to have found a London nursery which facilitates so much time outdoors and with such dedicated kind keyworkers. Yes the back office admin management can sometimes be frustrating but the frontline staff and manager have been brilliant in our experience.
Read on GoogleWe have been with Piplings for over a year, management are great and the key workers who our child have worked with throughout their year have been great. We are updated on their progress through a famly app every term - similarly to schools. My wife is a teacher (i say this because Piplings works in a way where they are nurturing a childs independence) and the reviews ive seen regarding the nursery is simply outrageous. The point is we know and feel confident our child is safe and well looked after.
Read on GoogleWe pulled our son out of this nursery due to the appalling attitude of the management. The owners have absolutely no interest in the well-being of the children and they quite frankly made this very clear. The stress of dealing with them was just not worth it. It wasn’t helped by uncovering the fact that all the while they had told us and lead us to believe they had been feeding our child organic freshly cooked food they had in fact had a catering company in who delivered EVERYONE already prepared in metal trays and plastic bags - even chopped fruit. We felt cheated that they had been charging such a high fee and conning us. The carers were well meaning but it didn’t make up for horrible dealing with the management was on any level. We were glad to take our son out of there. There are plenty of more caring nurseries in the area so I would try one of them!
Read on GoogleThe staff were amazing and our daughter was very well looked after by them. However, the managment are rude, they ignore you, they often overcharge. The older kids outdoor area was like a swamp, dangerous and unfit for purpose. The owner never engaged with any parents at all - sadly he will ruin what could have been a lovely nursery.
