Our ethos
Play2Talk is a Naturalistic, Developmental, Behavioural Intervention (NDBI) that uses play and sensory experiences to support speech delay in toddlers. It is a highly effective approach that helps young children to expand their language skills in a motivating, interactive way. There is over 30 years of research showing that children who are experiencing delays with their development benefit greatly from early help and support. More recently there has been a shift away from more traditional adult directed therapy approaches into more play based, dynamic models that support children’s own motivation and let them take the lead in their learning. The emphasis on giving families a clear path to follow has been a key part of the development process of the Play2Talk model.

SEND provision
Leaders and staff ensure that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are fully included and feel they belong. Staff quickly identify learning barriers and adapt teaching and routines to meet individual needs, particularly in communication, sensory regulation, and engagement. Leaders collaborate closely with families and relevant professionals to secure appropriate support and make timely adjustments, also planning careful transitions to help children settle and progress.
