I feel I’d be doing a real disservice if I didn’t leave a review for this amazing school. Both my children have attended Hatching Dragons over the past three years, and it’s honestly been a wonderful experience, not just for them, but for us as parents too. Having worked in education myself, I’ve seen lots of different schools, but this one has really stood out for all the right reasons. The nursery has a warm and welcoming atmosphere …you can feel it the moment you walk in. My children settled in so quickly and have been at their happiest there. They enjoy it so much that they often don’t want to come home! The activities are always very unique, creative and engaging, from pottery and exploring the work of famous artists to drama, outdoor play, music, and so much more. They also love going on trips to places like the park, museum, farm, and zoo… though the aquarium trip has definitely been their favourite! One of the things I really love about this nursery is how it celebrates different cultures and backgrounds. Each month the children explore a new country or theme, which has helped my children (even myself) learn more about the wider world and our own roots. They often come home excited to share what they’ve learned, and it’s so lovely to see how curious and confident they’ve become at such a young age. Communication is another big positive for me. The parent app is fantastic! I love seeing the daily photos and updates, something I haven’t seen elsewhere. It really gives me peace of mind knowing my children are happy and enjoying their day with lovely, caring staff. The termly reviews with their key person are also really helpful and show how much thought and care go into supporting the childrens progress. I also want to mention sadia (the manager). She is very kind, approachable, and genuinely cares about both the children and the parents. She’s always welcoming, easy to talk to, and quick to respond whenever I have a question or concern. She genuinely goes above and beyond for the families. My children absolutely adore her….they talk about her and the staff all the time, and even play pretend “teaching” games at home! The rest of the team are also wonderful…caring, patient, and great with the kids. We’ve tried a few nurseries before, but none have felt quite like this Hatching Dragons…it has been such a supportive and caring place for my children, and I’m really grateful for everything they’ve done. I’d happily recommend it to any parent looking for a nursery where their child will be well looked after, safe and geneiunly happy.
Read on GoogleCame across here after the below review was posted on socials, as I was looking for a nursery for my daughter. I’m honestly quite surprised by the nursery’s response to the below review. The parent’s concern was clearly about communication and safeguarding, not discrimination. Bringing up the Equality Act feels like an attempt to deflect rather than address the real issue. Any parent would expect to be informed if a new or opposite-gender staff member was involved in personal care. That is simply basic transparency and respect, not prejudice. Referring to it as a “cultural” matter completely misses the point. Would you want a stranger male wiping your daughter’s private parts without even being informed about it first? The reply reads more like a legal defence than a genuine attempt to resolve things, which is not what most parents want to see when trusting a nursery with their child.
Read on GoogleHatching dragons is such a lovely nursery. I visited many before deciding to send my son here and I have been so impressed with the settling in process and the warmth and professionalism from the staff. They treat each of the children with dignity and really care for them and get to know them. The nursery is organised and staff ratios are excellent. I feel at ease knowing my son is well looked after and he enjoys attending. Thank you!
Read on GoogleHaving tried other nurseries before, this by far is our favorite. Child leaves nursery very well prepared for school. A great loving environment and my children always love visiting and coming back! This alone shows how happy they were / are there. Over the last year the nursery improved even more, with more outside facilities available for children to enjoy and more educational outings. Having everything uploaded to Eylog is great, we get to know/see what the child did, what they ate, toileting etc.
Read on GoogleAmazing nursery with genuinely caring staff. Both my kids go there and have settled in quickly. Staff often go out of their way to look after the individual needs of the kids, and they have real affection for the kids there. The bilingual environment has also been very helpful in getting my daughter interested in Mandarin. Would highly recommend.
