How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported extremely well. They swiftly receive the support they need for any emerging gaps in their development. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) seeks advice from external professionals to support these children to reach their full potential. The SENCo has recently received training to learn strategies to aid a smooth transition for children with SEND into their new school.

Outdoor space

Older children play team games, such as rolling in the garden from one end to the other. Children of all ages regularly visit a local park and travel on the nursery bus. The nursery manager plans to extend the garden as children relish their time outdoors.

Playdays Nursery in Chiswick is truly exceptional! From the moment you walk in, it’s clear how much the staff genuinely love and care for the children. The facilities are amazing, well-equipped, safe and beautifully maintained. What really sets this nursery apart is the incredible variety of activities on offer. Children get to enjoy French classes, dance classes and swimming lessons, giving them such a wonderful and enriching experience, along with plenty of outdoor activities. A special mention to Miss Sarah, whose warmth and professionalism set the tone for the whole setting and to all other staff who bring that same dedication and care every single day. This is truly a wonderful place for children to learn, grow and thrive. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for the very best start for their little one.

Excellent nursery that I wholeheartedly recommend. The staff is very caring and highly knowledgeable, the management team provides a very positive and warm environment and is extremely organised. Thanks to Playdays Chiswick, I can see my child is thriving, and she couldn't be happier going through the doors in the morning. The activities are rich and varied, the food looks great and you feel like you are part of a community that places the well-being of the children at the forefront, and that parents can fully trust. Overall a 10/10 experience both for me and my child.

My daughter attended this nursery from the age of one, and I will always cherish the memories we have from this beautiful and caring place. I visited many nurseries and my older son attended others as well, but this one is truly the best in Chiswick and in London. You can feel the difference from the moment you walk in — starting with the manager’s welcoming and thoughtful approach. The staff are genuinely caring, and my daughter not only loved going every day but also formed strong bonds with the team.

My son has recently left Playdays after a very happy and wonderful 2.5 years. Sarah and her team go above and beyond to care and look after the children so well. He learnt so much and I always felt reassured he was receiving the best care and attention. His teachers were loving, patient and very kind, as well as teaching him so much. As a first time (nervous) parent leaving him for the first time when he was little was very tough but all of the staff helped both my son and me so much. I recommended my niece and nephew who have been equally as happy at Playdays. I really think it is the best nursery in Chiswick.
