Children quickly form positive relationships with staff, who respond sensitively to their individual care needs. The interesting and varied activities on offer, such as exploring real vegetables and sharing diverse cultural experiences, fully engross children and inspire their natural curiosity and desire to discover. There is a strong emphasis on developing good communication and language skills, with staff encouraging children to talk, sing, and engage with stories, helping them deepen their understanding and develop thinking skills. Children behave well, learning to be courteous and compassionate, supported by staff acting as good role models and using songs to teach good manners.

The curriculum is sequenced and covers all areas of learning, with regular assessments helping staff understand children's progress. The setting also places a strong emphasis on developing children's understanding of health, including proper handwashing, healthy eating choices, and oral hygiene. Children are encouraged to be active, with opportunities to run, ride tricycles, and develop fine motor skills, effectively preparing them for their next stage in education. The manager demonstrates high regard for staff well-being, fostering a valued team environment.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified through accurate assessments. Staff swiftly seek support and advice from outside agencies to help address any gaps in children's learning and development. Children with speech delay benefit from this additional support and use a growing vocabulary.

Outdoor space

Children show a keen interest in being active. They run, ride tricycles and navigate around the road track in the garden with increasing control.
