About this day nursery

15pm, Monday to Friday. The nursery received a Good rating at its latest Ofsted inspection on 15th December 2023.

Children arrive at the nursery happily, eager to engage in the day's activities and form close bonds with staff. The curriculum is designed to support individual learning needs, building on what children already know, with staff using observations to identify how best to further children's learning.

Parents are actively involved in their child's education, with staff sharing ideas for learning at home. Key people at the nursery gather comprehensive information from parents when children first attend, ensuring care is tailored to individual needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

The special educational needs coordinator works to support children effectively. Children exhibit good behaviour, with older children acting as positive role models.

They show confidence and self-esteem as a result of the praise and encouragement they receive. Physical activity is a key part of the nursery day, with children enjoying cosmic yoga, music and movement, and freeze tag.

They also engage with wheeled toys and respond to staff using coloured hoops to create pretend traffic lights during play.
