Inclusion & environment
Additional funding is used to provide an extra staff member who supports children identified with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) has good knowledge of children with additional needs, advises on daily support for those with delays in communication, language, or other learning areas, and regularly assesses children's progress.
The outdoor area provides physical challenges for all children, where they play in a mud kitchen, sharing and taking turns. All rooms and outdoor areas are risk assessed daily.
