Inclusion & environment
The manager spoke to the inspector about how they support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Children seek out staff to share their favourite books with indoors and outdoors.
The nursery supports a number of children who speak English as an additional language. They have implemented the use of a language screening assessment to identify children's current language skills and support early intervention. The assessment is used consistently with all children, and staff share ideas with parents to follow at home if a need is identified. This helps all children to make good progress.
Thank you to learn aid staff and management for making my son’s 3rd birthday so special he really enjoyed himself today. Since he has been going to learn aid I feel like he’s become more confident within himself and speaking in full sentences, when he first started learn aid he was just saying single words. I am very greatfull to Mr & Mrs Asif for helping my baby grow x
Read on GoogleLearnAid has been the best decision I made for my child. They are very caring and attentive towards each child and support with any concerns parents have towards child development and behaviour. I was regularly provided feedback regarding my child’s activities, interests, eating and toilet training etc. I have seen many positive changes in my child after getting him started at learnsaid like he has got more social, loves to read books, more interested in following routines and improved communication. They have got good early learning activities and provide a nice kickstart for school. My son loves going to this nursery everyday and that is a proof. Would highly recommend 👍
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Learnaid Nursery for over a year now and he is so happy there – it feels like a second home to him. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive and they provide him with so much care, attention and positivity. I have always found the key workers to be very communicative and the admin team are so efficient. The staff are very friendly and have great rapport with the children. We have been given great feedback regarding eating habits, toilet training and playtime what he finds interesting etc. As first time parents we feel so lucky to leave our precious son in such capable and warm hands! I would highly recommend Learnaid Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.
Read on GoogleMy son has been at Learnaid nursery for over a year now and I can say it was the best decision I made for him. My son had a stammer when he first started the nursery but thank you to the great work of the staff at Learnaid, my son has made significant progress with his speech. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which gives the nursery a lovely second home atmosphere. The staff are always arranging fun yet educational activities for the children, some of which the parents are able to take part in too. Also I can’t applaud the Learnaid staff enough for the effective communication they have with the parents, as I am updated on a daily basis of how my sons day went, via his daily diary. My son will now be leaving, to start reception, but come September my younger son will be joining Learnaid nursery, as their high standards and the vast amount of progress my eldest son made, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I would definitely recommend Learnaid nursery to all parents.
Read on GoogleMy daughter started on June, she couldn't go to the potty before. She was scared. They managed to do that with her and get her a certificate. My baby girl, she's happy there and the staff are professional and friendly.
