When service declined prices increase - over the last year this nursery has seriously declined. Issue 1: staffing, speaking to an off shift (and now resigned) member off staff I was told that the nursery have been severely understaffed for quite some time using agency staff - something the parents have not been made aware of. 2: council complaints- pumpkin patch are currently under investigation due to there lunch scandal- they have hugely increased fees for added food but do not allow parents to bring a packed lunch (this breaches the rules they are required to give parents the option to provide a packed lunch) the parent that made the council complaint and showed me the chain advised it was anonymous so I hope we all hear an outcome soon. Nappies and care: I have now heard 4 parents complain at pick up that the previous day there child had come home saw/raw and couldn’t of been changed - I have also had this with my child a few times over the last year Forrest school: one of the reasons we chose this provider was due to the Forrest school - this has now been cancelled due to staffing issues…… Pumpkin patch used to be an amazing nursery and there are still a few amazing member of staff that my child loves - it seems that further up the chain they have made many poor buisness decisions that have now impacted the quality of care they provide and the satisfaction of parents - it looks like they are in process of opening another site when they can’t even full time staff the current…. Sadly we have reached the point that we will be changing our childcare provider which is incredibly sad to when when our child has so many friends. Owners and managment - do better

Pumpkin Patch accommodated our son with short notice after he had a bad experience of another nursery. He was so upset at nursery previously, we thought he'd never settle but the staff at PP are magic. Pumpkin Patch are incredibly nurturing and child-centred, the staff are genuinely fond of the children and quickly get to know their individual needs. Our son learnt very quickly that he could go to any member of staff for reassurance. The activities they come up with on a daily basis are fun, engaging and support the children's development. The toys and resources are abundant and stimulating. I don't think they get a chance to miss home as they ae always busy getting messy, splashing about or being creative. The outside areas are safe and varied and even the smallest babies get lots of opportunities to be in the garden. We feel incredibly lucky to have gotten a place for him at PP.

Our son goes to Pumpkin Patch and we love it. The staff are brilliant; the facilities are great, including a big garden space; the food is healthy and varied; communication is good; and the Famly app is great for tracking food/nap/nappies and they send pictures regularly. The activities seem to be really varied and we have seen our son’s confidence and imagination grow since he started at PP last December. All in all he is thriving there and I would highly recommend it.

We couldn't be more pleased with this nursery. It has been a very smooth transition for our daughter and we have seen her confidence grow. This nursery has so much to offer for little ones and can support all aspects of their development! From feeding chickens, fish, music and atelier studios. We are looking forward to when our son joins in a few months.

Pumpkin patch are such a fantastic team, my son attends Hove and Worthing and he loves both settings. They both work so hard to help my son with his speech development. Nothing is ever too much for the staff, everyone is friendly, happy and helpful. My son loves going to nursery which means so much to a parent whilst your away. Pumpkin patch have stole mine and my son's heart. Thanks for all your fantastic hard work with all your children you care for. 5 stars from us.
