Inclusion & environment
Practitioners have high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All children make continued progress from their starting points.
The early years setting has an indoor environment that supports the curriculum, but the outdoor curriculum is not consistently implemented throughout the year, especially impacting children who prefer to learn outdoors during winter months due to less access and fewer opportunities for purposeful outdoor learning.
The nursery supports children who speak English as an additional language.
