Rainbow Nursery, situated in Kentish Town, offers a serene, countryside-like atmosphere within the urban landscape. This welcoming nursery provides care and education for children aged 12 months to 5 years.
Housed within a bright and spacious church hall, the nursery boasts an extensive garden area featuring an enclosed mud kitchen, a firepit, and a wooden house atop a climbing frame, fostering physical activity and interaction with nature. A smaller garden with a pond and growing patches allows children to observe plant life cycles.
Indoors, a diverse range of activities supports all aspects of child development, encouraging curiosity, hands-on exploration, and investigation. The nursery aims to provide a home-from-home setting where young minds can flourish.
Our ethos
We believe food is fundamental to healthy growth, happy minds, and positive lifelong habits. In the earliest years, what children eat shapes taste preferences, supports brain development, and lays the foundations for long-term health. Our menus are developed with expert guidance, designed for inclusion, and go beyond Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. We want every child to become a confident, curious eater.

We love Rainbow nursery - the facilities are outstanding (two gardens, soft play, garden room and a huge indoor space) - it makes kids thrive and learn in many ways. The staff is exceptional - competent and skilled but also super friendly and helpful with the families. I m so proud we found this space and that our son is part of this lovely community. We absolutely adore Rainbow nursery!
Read on GoogleRainbow Nursery is a beautiful place... My daughter began a few weeks ago and is really enjoying it. The professionals who work at the setting are always on top with the activities and plans for the kids' growth. This was our first settle. A very nice woman came up to us and helped us settle all morning. The manager is very skilled and took the time to explain everything during the first tour we had. She is nice and helpful, and she answers all of our questions with honesty. We loved seeing animals around. There was a big tank with colourful fish, and kids were feeding them. The garden is massive and they growing fruits and vegetables. There was also a pond in the back yard with frogs and toads living in it, and chickens which every morning, kids would go around and collect the eggs. They set up a fire pit for the kids to sit around and drink hot chocolate and make pancakes when it's cold outside. It's cool to see a small forest/farm nursery in the middle of London.
