In 2019, The Granary area was established, which now serves as the car park and entrance to the nursery. The upstairs area of The Granary offers an impressive space overlooking paddocks and a nature reserve, utilised by staff and children when not enjoying the outdoors.

This nursery offers both non-funded and funded sessions. Non-funded bookings include breakfast, morning, and full-day options. For funded children aged nine months to four years, voluntary fees apply to cover meals, enrichment, and any unfunded hours. Extra hours can also be booked.

Red Hen Day Nursery registered in 2004 and is situated in Legbourne, Lincolnshire. The nursery is open Monday to Wednesday from 8am until 6pm, and on Thursday and Friday from 8am to 4.30pm, all year round, except for public holidays and Christmas week. The nursery employs 23 members of childcare staff in addition to the owner, 19 of whom hold appropriate early years qualifications at level 3 or above. The nursery provides funded early education for two-, three- and four-year-old children.
