Rising Stars Pre-School & Nursery, established in 2018, offers high-quality childcare for children aged 3 months to school entry. 5-4 years.

An all-weather outdoor play area is also accessible to all age groups. The nursery prides itself on creating a safe and stimulating environment, recognising each child's unique learning style.

Practitioners employ 'in the moment planning' to observe and respond to children's interests, fostering their knowledge and development. Being located within Goldstar Active provides unique access to various facilities such as soft play, gym sessions, and baby ballet, with discounted rates for enrolled children.

Additionally, preschool children benefit from weekly French lessons with a Kidslingo teacher, introducing them to a foreign language from a young age. The staff are highly qualified, with most holding a Level 3 or Level 5+ childcare qualification and paediatric first aid certification.

The nursery emphasises a healthy and balanced diet, with fresh meals prepared daily. Children's learning is further enriched through community visits and visitors to the nursery, expanding their understanding of the wider world.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around non-funded full or short days, long or short half-day sessions, and weekly packages. Funded sessions incur daily or half-daily consumable charges, with additional wrap-around care charged separately. A crèche service is also available.

Children know that they are valued and their individual needs will be met, which supports their emotional well-being.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities very well. They work in close partnership with a wide range of other professionals to ensure that children get the support they need.

Outdoor space

Younger children actively explore equipment in the outdoor area and delight in their achievements as they walk across a raised plank of wood. The nursery is attached to a gymnastic club, and many older children take part in organised classes, showing high levels of confidence as they run, jump and balance to complete an obstacle course.
