Springboard Nursery offers care and education for children from six weeks to five years old, aiming to provide a positive experience that supports each child's individual needs. The day nursery encourages development through a wide array of activities, including country days, dance, music, movement, cookery, and interactions with animals.

They operate across three distinct rooms: one for babies, another for toddlers, and a dedicated pre-school area, ensuring age-appropriate environments for learning and play. Each child is assigned a "key person" to facilitate close communication with both the child and their family, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth transitions throughout their early years journey.

The day nursery prides itself on its positive, friendly, supportive, and professional approach, committed to maintaining the highest quality of care. Their curriculum strictly adheres to Ofsted expectations and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, preparing children thoroughly for their transition to school in a fun and safe setting.

Staff are highly qualified, with many holding or working towards NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education, and senior staff often possess higher qualifications. All team members are DBS checked and selected for their enthusiasm and dedication to child development, with staff-to-child ratios maintained in accordance with government guidelines: 1:3 for under twos, 1:4 for two to three-year-olds, and 1:8 for children aged three and above.

Our ethos

We provide care and education for children aged six weeks to five years, encouraging and supporting them through a wide range of experiences; from country days, dance, music and movement to cookery, animals, and much more. We aim to support each child’s individual needs to make their experience at nursery a positive one, each child is paired with a ‘key person’ to communicate closely with the child and family, building positive relationships and ensuring they have smooth transitions through their early years experience.

Children build positive relationships with their key persons, and staff demonstrate deep knowledge of each child's needs, development and emotions. Pricing & funding

Springboard Nursery offers full day (10-hour) and half day (5-hour) sessions. Full days include all meals. Half-day sessions include meals relevant to the session time. An additional charge applies to funded-only places to cover food and resources, unless deprivation funding is received. All fees are payable on the 1st of each month.
