Our ethos
We believe that when your child walks through the threshold of one of our nurseries, you should know they are in a place where they will receive the highest levels of care, attention and support. At our St Margarets Montessori Nursery School, we share a strong vision for Montessori education, led by a very experienced staff team and rooted in Montessori Education. In our carefully prepared environment, children are encouraged to explore, question and discover, building confidence, concentration, and a love of learning. Claudia’s philosophy centres on the belief that every person has unique qualities that no one else possesses, and that through thoughtful guidance and opportunity, adults can help children realise their strengths, build confidence, and develop the self-esteem to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

Inclusion & environment
Children benefit from constant support from staff, which ensures their individual needs are met effectively. Staff use a range of strategies to help a few children who are learning to self-regulate their behaviour, talking to children about their emotions and expectations.
Children enjoy a broad range of activities during outside play, including building with large boxes, riding bicycles, and digging in the mud to look for minibeasts. They also extend their physical skills exceptionally well, confidently climbing frames, using slides independently, balancing on beams, and using barrels and wheeled toys.
