Inclusion & environment
Leaders are swift to put in place support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They seek the advice and assistance of additional professionals to ensure that children receive the specialist support they need to help them make the best possible progress. Leaders and staff work closely in partnership with parents to support children with SEND.
Children have plenty of opportunities to play outside where they develop physical skills, excitedly steer and manoeuvre bikes around tracks, and enjoy chasing after hoops they roll down hills. Babies also learn to climb steps and balance as they are encouraged by staff to cross small bridges. Staff receive training to develop and adapt outdoor play opportunities, with children learning how to plant and care for growing sunflowers, promoting curiosity and understanding of the world.
I’ve had such a lovely experience with this nursery. My 2 year old settled in really well, and that’s 100% down to how kind, patient, and attentive the staff are. They genuinely care about the children and it shows every day. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and fun, and I love seeing how much my little one is learning and growing. Communication has also been great, which gives me real peace of mind as a parent. I’m so happy I chose this nursery and would definitely recommend it.
Read on GoogleOur son settled into the daycare much faster than we expected. The staff are exceptional, very caring and supportive. The environment is warm, safe, and welcoming for children. He genuinely enjoys going there every day. We would highly recommend Rocking Horse☺️🎉
Read on GoogleMy son absolutely loves going to Rocking Horse. He has so much fun there, and the team provides very close, attentive support to his development. Whenever I have questions or suggestions, they listen carefully and always follow through with actions. On top of that, there is plenty of parking and a wonderful outdoor garden, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommended!
Read on GoogleOn 16th September my son was left outside in the huge garden completely ALONE for an undisclosed amount of time. I got there to collect him and there were 3 members of staff in his room and none of them had a clue that he wasn’t even in the room. I’ve never been so heart broken. The manager Nabila then had an hour long talk with me in her office where she continuously slated the staff in the toddler room. Of course she then denied this the next day in front of the main manager Manjit. Another child was also left outside alone back in 2022. This nursery can’t even do the basics of a head count. Anything could have happened to my son that day. Avoid like the plague.
