Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents speak highly of the nursery and especially comment on the progress their children make.
They say that all staff are friendly and caring.
Parents say they value the regularly updated information they receive online and the discussions at collection times about their child's care and learning.
Inclusion & environment
Children who need additional support or have special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the help they need. Staff liaise effectively with colleagues, parents and other professionals to gain the right support. As a result, these children make positive progress from their starting points. For example, children who are nonverbal or are not yet speaking use other appropriate methods to support their communication and understanding.
Children enjoy their time playing outdoors. They use their imaginations well while they play together. For example, older children gather various natural items to mix with water. They say they are making 'spinach soup' and recall the ingredients they added when making this with family members at home.
I don’t recommend this nursery. I had both my kids there for a while but and we had numerous problems with the invoices. They were very evasive from the beginning regarding what’s included and what’s not and had very complicated way of doing the finances. We had problems with the 30 free hours that we were receiving and had been overcharged hundreds because they haven’t calculated the free hours in accordance with the gov rules. Every invoice was different each month and multiple times had to be corrected and reissued. We had to find a reliable nursery nursery.
Read on GoogleI called to view the nursery a week before and was given a date to come and view the nursery, I arrived on time but was told to wait outside waited for 20 minutes and when I went back to knock again a member of staff informed me that the manager had asked to leave my telephone number she would ring me! Had left work earlier as I had an appointment to come and view only to be told this! Very disappointing as it does not portray professionalism.
