Rose Hill Nursery, located in Morden, Surrey, provides a calm and welcoming environment where children from 1 to 4 years old feel happy and settled. The nursery, registered in 2013, operates from 8am to 6pm on weekdays for 50 weeks of the year, offering full day care.
The dedicated team of 12 staff members, all holding relevant childcare qualifications from level 2 to level 6, build positive relationships with the children from the start, ensuring they feel safe and secure. Children are encouraged to be independent, learning to do things for themselves like putting on shoes and cleaning up spills.
The curriculum is well-implemented to support children's development, with staff effectively using observations to plan engaging learning opportunities based on children's interests. This approach has led to children making good progress in their learning.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well.
Children develop their physical skills, particularly outdoors. They learn to balance on beams and play ball games. Children have opportunities to make connections between indoor and outdoor environments. For example, they continue their interest in rolling cars through tubes by rolling balls along drainpipes, which helps to embed their learning.
There are some strategies in place to support children who speak English as an additional language (EAL), such as displayed words in different languages. However, there are few opportunities for them to hear and use their home languages at the setting.
Rosehill Nursery have provided outstanding childcare to my 3 children over the course of nearly 18 years, to clarify My children are aged 18,15 and 3. With all my children , they have always provided a warm , welcoming, caring environment where the children feel happy, comfortable and safe , as well as providing exceptional educational and developmental activities for the children which the team keep in a learning journal so you are kept updated throughout their time at the nursery. My son who is currently at the nursery is always keen to get through the door and play with his favourite toys and is always given a warm welcome by the team. The team at the nursery have almost remained the same over this time , which I think speaks volumes. Claire who is the current manager, was there when my eldest was 18 months old and remembers her and my eldest son from when they attended- she is an amazing asset to the nursery and it fills me with so much confidence knowing that she is overlooking everything and constantly looking to improve and provide the children with amazing care and education in a happy , clean environment. I really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough , you will see your child thrive all the while knowing that they are being looked after by all the amazing ladies that work there.
Read on GoogleI am absolutely thrilled to write this glowing review for my daughter's nursery (Rosehill Nursery). From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew we had found the perfect place for our little one to grow and thrive. First and foremost, the staff at this nursery are truly exceptional. They are warm, caring, and genuinely love what they do. It's evident in the way they interact with the children - always attentive, patient, and nurturing. They take the time to get to know each child individually, understanding their unique needs and personality traits. This personalized approach has made a world of difference in my daughter's development and overall happiness. The nursery itself is a haven for learning and exploration. The facilities are clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity and imagination. The classrooms are bright and inviting, filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and educational materials. I appreciate how the nursery incorporates both structured learning activities and free play, allowing children to develop their cognitive, social, and physical skills at their own pace. One aspect that sets this nursery apart is the emphasis on outdoor play and nature-based activities. The nursery has a beautiful outdoor space, complete with a secure playground, garden, and plenty of space for running and exploring. I love that my daughter gets to spend time outdoors, connecting with nature and learning about the world around her. The nursery also organizes regular nature walks and field trips, which further enriches the children's learning experiences. Communication between the nursery and parents is outstanding. We receive regular updates on our daughter's progress, including detailed reports on her daily activities, meals, and nap times. The staff is always available to answer any questions or address any concerns we may have. This level of transparency and open communication has given us peace of mind, knowing that our daughter is in capable hands. Lastly, the nursery has more than enough parking spaces and the nursery is located close proximity to bus stops. I cannot recommend Rosehill Nursery highly enough. The dedicated staff, stimulating environment, and focus on holistic development make it an exceptional place for children to learn, grow, and thrive. My daughter has flourished in their care, and we are forever grateful for the positive impact they have had on her early years.
Read on GoogleMy son has been here for 2 years now and I really can't say enough good things about the team. From settling him in (an emotional time for any family) to helping him be excited about his new sister and really pushing forward his potty training, we are so grateful to Claire and all the fantastic team. When I hear other people talk about their (often more expensive) nurseries there seems to be so much more focus on learning at Rosehill. Though we don't have whizzy apps and video cams, we've never wanted or needed them as we've had hard copy learning journals and examples of what they are working on sent home. My son is always so happy and excited to see his teachers and friends.
Read on GoogleBoth of my children have attended Rosehill nursery and both have flourished here. Clare and the staff are all so wonderful and really take the time to understand the children’s interests. My son adores going to nursery everyday and is always so happy we drop him off. The learning journeys have a great overview of what they have been working on and we are always getting pictures and work coming home. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleAll the staff and the nursery manager are very supportive and kind. My little one is delayed with speech and language and we have been receiving wonderful support from the nursery. My elder one went to a very well reputed nursery and I can easily say that the environment and the care that is provided by staff is way better here. I would highly recommend this nursery.
