The inspector highlighted that staff know the children well, are positive role models, and have effective procedures for when children start at the nursery or move between rooms.

The setting's curriculum is planned to support children as they prepare to move on to school. Children have access to a large, well-resourced garden and participate in regular sports sessions. Ofsted noted that staff identify areas where children require extra support and work with parents and other professionals to meet their needs. To improve, the inspector suggested the nursery could enhance the organisation in some rooms during transitions and provide further staff training on the teaching of some mathematical concepts.

Effective transition procedures are in place for when children start in the nursery or move rooms, and as a result, children settle well and enjoy their time at the nursery.
