What parents say

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff talk to children about what they are doing, introducing new words and giving them time to process and respond. However, they do not consistently gain eye contact with children or model how to say words, which means children may not attempt to repeat them at that moment.

Outdoor space

Children are physically active. They regularly explore the woods and beach, securely accessed from the private grounds. Children develop muscle strength and stability as they crawl and walk on different surfaces. They learn to balance as they climb through low-level trees.

Can’t say enough about Rossall Nursery, my son went and now my daughter goes and absolutely loves it. The staff are professional but very approachable and provide great care and opportunities for my daughters needs and development, who would go everyday if she could! It is definitely helping to create a great foundation for her future in a fun and nurturing environment with amazing facilities, and I am grateful she is having such valuable experiences at Rossall Nursery. My twin girls just adore Rossall nursery and staff and love to share their experiences when we pick them up. The care and support to their learning is amazing and the staff always make them feel special and part of the Rossall school community. With visits to other parts of this amazing school, caring for the animal residents, lots of space to play and explore with their friends, all whilst developing and improving their social skills. We would not hesitate to recommend Rossall nursery to other parents.
