Ofsted highlighted the outstanding support for children's communication and language, with staff using new words and sign language. To help children understand the wider world, the nursery organises trips to the dentist and weekly library visits. There is a system to support children and families who speak English as an additional language, including interpreters who can visit family homes. According to the inspector, staff also work with parents to help them understand healthy sleep patterns and adopt consistent behaviour strategies.

Skools Inn / Out's educational approach is explicitly described as a 'Forest School programme' and it shows a strong emphasis on child-led learning and individual development. The nursery also focuses on communication, language, and personal, social, and emotional development (PSED) for babies, and provides an enriching learning environment for preschoolers with a full programme delivered by qualified staff. They are an OFSTED Outstanding provider.
