Rubery Day Nursery, founded by qualified teacher Parvinder Singh, has a rich history in childcare, with the family establishing their first nursery in 1997. The nursery is committed to providing exceptional care and education, a dedication that remains as strong today as it was at its inception.
The nursery has expanded primarily through positive word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied parents who value the high standards of care provided. Rubery Day Nursery adopts a comprehensive approach to childcare, employing a team of experienced and skilled managers who are not included in regular staffing ratios.
These managers are dedicated to overseeing and enhancing standards, as well as training staff, to guarantee that each child receives the highest quality of care, support, and education. The nursery fosters open communication and strong partnerships with parents, aiming to create an environment where parents feel confident and relaxed about their child's well-being.
It is a child-centred setting that promotes children's decision-making abilities, self-belief, and confidence, recognising and catering to each child's unique needs. The nursery prides itself on actively listening to and valuing children, striving to offer the best possible start in life to prepare them for their future.
They offer a holistic daily experience with both indoor and outdoor areas consistently available, allowing children to choose their learning environment. Rubery Day Nursery believes childhood should be fully enjoyed and savoured, and maintains an open-door policy, encouraging discussion of any issues, concerns, or ideas with the management team.

Inclusion & environment
The nursery benefits from a large outdoor area where children can grow vegetables and learn about food origins. They have access to a mud kitchen to develop creativity and imagination, and plenty of opportunities for physical activity, such as riding wheeled vehicles and making marks on fences with mud.
My kid is in this nursery. He likes the really big outdoor garden with lots of bikes and outdoor facilities to try. I only need to pay food and also it is very cheap, £6 included snacks and lunch and dinner meals. In my previous nursery, I did pay around £130 for 6 week’s enrichment fee and have to prepare lunch bag by myself. The manager in current nursery is really kind, nice and considerate, soft but strongly working hard for looking after kid’s benefits instead of profit headed. We had lots of Christmas gifts, a big bag with wrapped boxes which was really generous and kind. I can see the improvement of the nursery during this year. They set up new rooms with better classified functions and renovated some spaces. I have been accepted warmly for expressing some of my concerns and they also had some responds. All in all, personally I feel it is a really nice nursery.
