I was a nervous mother of a 9month old in April 2025 and was not sure how my daughter would settle and adjust in a nursery setting. But in a few days realised the carers in the baby room under their leader Claire were hands down brilliant. My daughter had not been much around other babies and had initial problems especially sleeping away from mom, but with the careful nurturing and support of the her carers she started to sleep by herself in her day cot in the nursery in no time. Within 4-5 weeks she had developed a strong bond with all of her carers in the room and would happily go to them in the morning by extending her arms. All of the rooms in the setting including the babies have big and individual gated garden spaces something I had not seen in any other nursery in the area and was important to me since the children spend so much of their time in the nursery. This was also the only nursery I know in the Purley area where the kids are taken outdoors for a stroll almost a daily basis including babies who go out in their prams, for me this was a real plus. All through the summer months the Carers planned educational and fun activities for the babies, and made me joyfully teary eyed seeing my little one have so much fun in the photos and videos that were posted on their app. The carers also made sure to record and note down any significant development milestones that they noticed which meant I had the peace of mind. Before my daughter turned one she had started saying single words with proper understanding of those words and I feel it was to a great extend due to the nurturing and care she received at the Sanderstead Park Nursery. Thank you to the team in the babies room for taking such great care, I would highly recommend this nursery for the above reasons.

Very attentive and supportive staff who develop great relationships with the children and their parents/carers. The setting is really lovely and the children have wonderful gardens to play in, each one tailored to each age group. Parents are regularly updated on child progress. We have had our child at the nursery for almost two years and we would highly recommend it.

Conveniently located within Sanderstead Park and with its own garden play areas for each of three age brackets this is a wonderful space for children to enjoy and engage with nature. What truly distinguishes this nursery though is its exceptional team. The staff are not only friendly but also remarkably conscientious and attentive. They consistently go above and beyond, to encourage each child's development in a fun way. We've been consistently impressed by their dedication and by the wonderfully positive, nurturing atmosphere they've created.

Admin was initially slow to come back to us, but persevere if this happens to you because this is a great setting! Both my girls attend SPN and even though they have different personalities they both settled in quickly and are thriving. There isn't a high staff turnover in our experience, which positively speaks for itself. The staff are kind, supportive and attentive - they genuinely care about your child's wellbeing and development. I especially like that come rain or shine they get the kids outdoors to use up some of that lovely energy they have.

Lovely place. My daughter can’t wait to come in every morning, which is such a relief as a parent to know that your child feels safe and has so much fun! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t fault them!
