The biggest problem with this nursery is the total lack of communication. Emails are never answered, phone calls always end with ‘we’ll get back to you,’ but nobody ever does. Parents are left completely ignored while invoices keep coming regularly – often with mistakes and confusion - they can’t even calculate correctly. Health and care standards are also poor. After almost every visit, my child came home sick – the nursery feels more like a virus breeding ground than a safe place. On top of that, I’ve witnessed staff outside dressed in warm clothes while children were left in short sleeves on cold days. That shows a complete lack of basic responsibility for children’s wellbeing. Poor organisation, no accountability, wrong charges, zero response to parents. Update: Thank you for your public reply – you respond faster to a Google review (even outside working hours) than to the many emails I have sent directly to the nursery. For an entire year my emails were ignored, and only after repeated calls and reminders did I receive a late response – for example, to my email sent on 15th August I only got a reply on 12th September. This shows clearly that communication with parents is not a priority for you. Regarding the fees, I understand what the policy says and I don’t argue with that. The issue is that during the whole year nobody ever explained this to me, despite the fact that I always informed you about my child’s absence. Instead of clear communication, I was left unaware and only learned about these rules when overcharges appeared. And even then, your own the year-end summary invoice was issued incorrectly. Also, your explanation about ‘common colds’ misses the point. The last illnesses were not colds but stomach virus (vomiting/diarrhoea) and an eye infection – both clearly picked up at nursery. So once again – my main concern is not the written policy, but the complete lack of communication, transparency, and care in dealing with parents.

I just want to start off by saying the facilities look great, the administration however is an absoloute disgrace. We tried to get our son into this nursery, had all the paperwork and finances sorted, but then were messed around for weeks being told we would be called back the same day, someone would call back the same week, emails saying someone would be in contact. Notes were apparently taken and we were 'promised' we would hear back. After weeks of phone calls, we gave up and went elsewhere that got back to us the same day. Don't waste your time trying to get your kid in here, they say they will get back to you and never do. Hate to have to leave this review as the place honestly looks great, but the administration let us down. Even people that have their kids there complain about the lack of trust in the administration.

We feel so absolutely fortunate that this nursery exists. They have and continue to put in so much genuine effort in the care of our child. They do not shy away from responsibility and they made our son feel safe and special. Our son has complex needs and they truly excelled in his care. Thank you sincerely, Serendipity!
