How they support every child
SEND provision
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those who require additional support, receive targeted next steps that reflect their individual needs. Leaders ensure staff receive regular training and updates to effectively identify and support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those who may have gaps in their learning, implementing tailored individual learning plans for continued progress.
Outdoor space
Children have many opportunities to develop their physical development, from riding bicycles in the garden to climbing large apparatus. Younger children explore different surfaces that support their balance and coordination, while older children benefit from fixed climbing equipment that develops their strength and physical skills.
EAL / language support
Staff provide appropriate support for children who speak English as an additional language and show genuine respect for their home languages, gathering key words and phrases from parents and using them alongside English. Additional resources like songs in home languages and dual language books are utilised to help children feel valued, included, and confident in their communication.
