I am the registered manager of a children’s residential home and the youngest child in my care started at Side by Side early 2025. The progress he made there was incredible! The reports the nursery send out are thorough and very detailed. Amongst many other things, the support he had around his communication needs was amazing. The team there got to know this little boy and his needs very quickly and were able to put strategies in place to help him progress even further. The team attended all meetings in relation to this child and not only provided information but also any suggestions on further support that may benefit him. In the summer holidays my little boy went to the Silverdale site for 2 weeks following then opening up their SEN room, and it was just as amazing, my little boy loved it and the team were so warm, and nurturing and within no time, got to know his needs! I am so glad we found this nursery and would recommend to anyone. The work they do is simply incredible! Thank you so much all at Side by Side!

Making the decision to move my son to Side by Side felt like the hardest decision I had to make as it was a part of me accepting he had additional needs and was struggling at his old nursery…. but it was honestly the best decision I’ve made for him. Christina and all the wonderful girls at SBS are amazing, they can’t do enough for my little boy and they really do take their time to understand him; what he needs and how best to work with them. He’s so much happier than he’s ever been at nursery, they’ve tapped in to lots of his interests and he now never stops singing. The support for myself as well as my son has been amazing. I couldn’t recommended it enough! 🌈

I sent my twins here, at the start they were so shy and scared to go but Amie and Laura has helped them settle so quickly! And I’ve seen such a big improvement in their speech since they started this preschool. I’m so happy I chose this nursery for my twins I was a bit indecisive first as I never been away from them! But Laura and Amy took all my worries away, they were both so welcoming and kept me updated regarding the boys, thank you so much ❤️ and would definitely recommend this preschool to all the parents out there!!!

We love Side by Side Nursery. My son is autistic and non-verbal and has been going there for a year now. He is so well supported and has made such great progress in the time that he’s been there. The staff are kind and supportive and respond to the child’s needs and care for them in a way that is suited to the child. The managers have been helping us with the EHCP process and trying to find the most appropriate school place for him - they have such a wealth of knowledge and experience, it really has made the whole thing easier. Beyond just the child in their care , they also try to support the whole family. The staff organise coffee mornings for SEND parents to get together which I’ve found really beneficial. My son loves nursery so much that he picks up his bag and waits by the door on the weekends. Highly recommend this nursery to any parent who has a child with additional needs.

What a fantastic and inclusive setting . Our daughter joined the preschool room in Feb 2024 and has continued to blossom and thrive in the environment. Surrounded by highly qualified , caring and supportive practitioners, that ensure her needs along with her peers needs are always met . The children are provided with opportunities galore to explore , learn and be creative through play . Healthy snack and meals are provided to the highest quality with all dietary requirements met and supported - nothing is too much trouble at all . Side By Side have been a huge piece in our daughters learning journey puzzle and we are forever grateful for them and would recommend to all parents in and around the local area .
