However, the latest Ofsted inspection on 19th January 2026 rated the nursery as Inadequate, highlighting areas for urgent improvement. While children generally arrive happily and separate from their parents with confidence, and familiar staff respond with warmth, the curriculum does not consistently help children achieve well.

Teaching often falls short in building upon children's existing knowledge, leading to some children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), spending time without purposeful engagement. Children with SEND are welcomed at the setting, but delays in accessing specialist support mean they are not fully able to participate in learning or daily routines.

There are also identified weaknesses in supporting the development of self-regulation, communication, and self-care skills for these children. While some children begin to learn early number and letter recognition through songs and puzzles, these experiences are not always part of a well-planned, sequenced curriculum conducive to deeper learning.

Delays in key processes, such as education, health and care plan applications and referrals, mean these children do not access timely support.
