I’m so grateful that this nursery opened up as it’s been the perfect choice for our family. It’s small and calm and full of caring staff that you feel have your children’s best interests at heart (and listen to you as a parent). I want to say thank you to Nic, Amen, Alex, Lacey, Izzy, Abbie, and the rest of the team for being patient (mainly with me as I know I ramble on a bit) and for showing you care about getting to know M & B. I am quite a worrier as a mum and you always take time to listen/offer reassurance. The nursery is small but I think this has been a big benefit for the children as they get a lot of attention and support. It’s modern and has a big outdoor space in a quiet setting where they seem to spend a lot of time. The staff are transparent, they give in depth handovers, and are just a really lovely group of women. It’s also one of the only nurseries in the area that offer lots of different options to help working parents (e.g short days, not just full days, mornings, or afternoons). I haven’t seen many others offer this. My eldest did 2 days a week at a larger nursery nearby for a while and I took him out as it felt like profit was the priority. They didn’t know him (or us) at all and it was chaotic. This is the compete opposite situation here and I highly recommend it. Thank you again xx

We were looking for the right nursery for our 2-year-old son, and it was our first time navigating private nurseries, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. From the moment we met Lydia and the rest of the team, we felt completely at ease. The staff are not only experienced and professional, but also warm, friendly, and genuinely caring — everything feels personal, never just routine. Our son has absolutely loved his time at the nursery over the past year. He’s made lovely friendships and always speaks fondly of both the children and the staff. Even now, he gets excited whenever we pass by the nursery! We’re so grateful for the wonderful memories and the fantastic foundation this nursery has given him as he transitions to school nursery. Thank you to everyone for your care, support, and kindness over the last year. – Sam

Beautiful nursery just outside of Pattingham. The staff are lovely and really care about the children. The rooms are well set up and the outdoor area is great. Our little one has only been attending for a short time so far but we’re really happy with Smarty Pants. Our little one comes home and babbles away to us, telling us all about his day. We get photo updates on the app to show us what he’s been up to. Really recommend

It's been difficult for us to find a suitable nursery for our 2 children near our new house that we felt confident in after previous bad experiences. I was ready to give up when family friends advised us about smarty pants @ pattingham and within minutes of meeting Lydia during the walk around and seeing the nursery I felt confident and pleased that this nursery was for us. The staff are friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. The grounds and within the nursery are beautiful, clean and safe aswell as educational for my children. I'm so pleased with our decision to move them and they are already coming home and telling us about what a fabulous day they have had. The app is wonderful too with providing peace of mind 🌟 I have absolutely no faults to mention!

What a lovely nursery, everything about it makes you feel safe having your child go there. The location is lovely in a quiet part of Pattingham, the building is modern and has a lovely outside play area. The staff who work there really are amazing they make our little one feel comfortable going and always go out of there way to inform us on what they have done on the day. Overall highly recommended
